Health Care Legislation Proposed by Michigan's Senate is the Wrong Medicine for Business

The Michigan Business Tax, rising health care costs and economic challenges are causing many Michigan small and medium-sized businesses to consider reducing the health care coverage they provide their employees -- or cancelling it altogether -- according to a recent survey by the Michigan Business and Professional Association (MBPA). Many are even laying off employees to cover these new tax and insurance burdens.
