Carolinas-based drugstore chain launches Medicare D information program

Kerr Drug, the pharmacy chain with 104 retail locations across the Carolinas, is launching their Medicare D Information Program. The Medicare D Program will offer all seniors a source for information and answers about the upcoming changes to Medicare's prescription drug coverage.

Prescription drug coverage will be available to everyone with Medicare on January 1, 2006.

Kerr stores will be offering information stations set up for seniors, where they can find informational brochures, forms, phone numbers and web sites to where they can get additional information on Medicare.

Also, Kerr will be holding community meetings for seniors...
