Ivan K. Fong named chief legal officer at pharmaceutical, medical supply company

Cardinal Health, Inc., announced that Ivan K. Fong joined the company on November 1 as executive vice president and chief legal officer.

In this role, Fong, 44, will serve as secretary of Cardinal Health's board of directors and manage all legal affairs for the company. Brendan A. Ford, who has served as interim chief legal officer since May, will return to his role as executive vice president of Corporate Development.

Fong was most recently senior vice president and general counsel for General Electric's Vendor Financial Services business, where he managed a wide range of litigation, compliance and public policy matters. Prior to joining GE in 2000,...
