Self-report symptom scale for identifying depression remission validated

Scientists have validated a self-report depression symptom scale for identifying remission in depressed outpatients. According to a study from the United States, "In treatment studies of depression, remission is usually defined by scoring less than a threshold value on an interview-based measure of depression severity such as the Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression (HRSD).
