Talyst introduces new barcode labeling equipment for high-volume pharmacies

Talyst has introduced a new generation of barcode labeling equipment for high-volume pharmacies, the AutoLabel BC500, which automatically affixes the patent-pending Transferable Flag Label to vials of injectable drugs. The BC500 is the latest component in Talyst's Barcode to Dose solution for pharmacies.

The Transferable Flag Labels can be affixed to all forms of medications and assures the barcode will remain with the package and with the dose that reaches the patient. The label attaches to the neck of medication vials and ampoules, as well as to irregularly shaped and multidose non-oral medications, such as ointments, eye drops and inhalers.
