Chronic hepatitis B overlap lamivudine treatment may be beneficial

"Adefovir dipivoxil is effective against lamivudine-resistant HBV strains. Whether short-term overlap lamivudine is beneficial remains unknown, particularly in patients with decompensated chronic hepatitis B," wrote C.J. Liu and colleagues, National Taiwan University.
