New myeloproliferative disorders genetics research from University of California described

Fresh data on myeloproliferative disorders are presented in the report 'Genetic profiling of myeloproliferative disorders by single-nucleotide polymorphism oligonucleotide microarray.' According to recent research published in the journal Experimental Hematology, "Myeloproliferative disorders (MPD) are clonal hematopoietic diseases that include polycythemia vera (PV), essential thrombocytosis (ET), and primary myelofibrosis (PMF). Mutations in JAK2 are present in many MPD patients."
