'Help is Here Express' Visits Jacksonville Beach

The Florida Times-Union recently reported that the "Help is Here Express" bus tour visited Jacksonville Beach to help poor and uninsured patients access information on patient assistance programs that provide prescription medicines for free or nearly free.

The "Help is Here Express" bus, which is part of the Partnership for Prescription Assistance (PPA) and sponsored by America's pharmaceutical research companies (represented by PhRMA), stopped at Mission House at 800 Shetter Ave.

To date, the PPA has helped more than 6 million patients. The bus is staffed by specialists trained to help uninsured patients in need access information on more than 475...
