Study 1: Researchers review varicella vaccination in Australia in a recent issue of the Journal of Paediatrics and Child Health.
According to recent research from Australia and Belgium, "Varicella zoster virus (VZV) causes both chickenpox and herpes zoster and is responsible for a significant disease burden, including hospitalizations and deaths, in Australian children and adults.
