PSS World Medical Announces Partial Sale of athenahealth, Inc. Stake

PSS World Medical, Inc. (Nasdaq GS: PSSI) announced that it has sold a portion of its shares of athenahealth, Inc., a leading provider of internet-based healthcare information technology and business services to physician practices. The Company had purchased approximately 1.5 million shares of athenahealth, Inc. prior to its initial public offering in September 2007. The Company also reiterated its ongoing commitment to investing in the success of its partnership with athenahealth to market its innovative products to the physician market.
