Reports outline toothache epidemiology research from University of Maryland

Research findings, 'Toothache pain: a comparison of visits to physicians, emergency departments and dentists,' are discussed in a new report. According to a study from the United States, "Researchers' understanding of the use of emergency departments (EDs) and physicians' offices for the treatment of toothaches is limited. The authors conducted a study to explore their use by low-income and minority adults in comparison with the use of traditional dental services."
