Immunodiagnostics company receives subpoena

Diagnostic Products Corp. (DP) (DPC) announced that it has received a subpoena from the United States Attorney's Office to produce to a Federal Grand Jury documents relating to trading in the company's stock by employees, officers, and directors in early 2004 as well as documents related to the FDA's (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) review of the company's application for a test to detect Chagas disease.

The company has been in communication, and is cooperating with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regarding these matters.
