University presents Michael F. Rieders, PhD, with Distinguished Alumni Award

National Medical Services (NMS), a leading toxicology and criminalistics laboratory, has announced that its chief executive officer, Michael F. Rieders, PhD, is to receive the Distinguished Alumni Award from Thomas Jefferson University's Jefferson College of Graduate Studies.

It is the most prestigious honor the college gives its alumni.

A 1985 graduate of Jefferson's Doctoral Degree Program in pharmacology/toxicology and a Foerderer Fellow, Rieders has been at NMS for more than 30 years. Currently the chairman and CEO, he is a forensic toxicologist, assistant laboratory director and a former president of the corporation.
