Combination therapy improved plasma lipids in diabetic patients

Combination therapy (enalapril plus valsartan) in patients with diabetes and hypertension resulted in improvements in plasma lipids during renin-angiotensin system blockade.

According to published research from Italy, "There is experimental evidence of an interaction between the angiotensin system and lipid metabolism.
