Pharmaceutical firm reports changes in corporate governance

Biovail Corporation (BVF) announced that it has made significant improvements to its corporate-governance framework. These improvements are part of the ongoing governance-enhancement initiative implemented since Executive chairman Eugene Melnyk first announced in June 2004 the company's commitment to increase investor confidence.
