Vascular indices predict liver cancer responsiveness to thalidomide. Researchers in Taiwan conducted a study "to prospectively evaluate the feasibility of using power Doppler ultrasonography (US) and measurement of circulating angiogenic factors to assess the antiangiogenic effect of thalidomide in hepatocellular carcinoma.
