Biomarker may predict Alzheimer disease progression

A biomarker pioneered by Applied NeuroSolutions (APNS) and exclusively utilized in its Alzheimer diagnostic assay, shows great promise in predicting brain atrophy in patients with Alzheimer disease, according to a group of researchers in the U.S., Canada, and Europe led by Harald Hampel and published recently in the Archives of Neurology.
