Physical therapy clinics experience limited impact from Hurricane Katrina

U.S. Physical Therapy, Inc. (U.S.PH) announced that seven of its clinics in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama have been affected by Hurricane Katrina.

Four of the seven clinics were closed and the other three were seeing a reduced number of patients.

Founded in 1990, U.S. Physical Therapy, Inc. operates 277 outpatient physical and/or occupational therapy clinics in 36 states.

The company's clinics provide preventative and postoperative care for a variety of orthopedic-related disorders and sports-related injuries, treatment for neurologically related injuries and rehabilitation of injured workers. In addition to owning and...
