Council for Responsible Nutrition expands review of dietary supplement advertising

The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), the dietary supplement industry's leading trade association, and the National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus (NAD), an investigative and judicial arm of the advertising industry's self-regulatory body, have launched a new initiative that will increase monitoring of advertising for dietary supplements.

The initiative has been developed to increase consumer confidence in the truth and accuracy of advertising claims for dietary supplement products and encourage fair competition within the industry.
