Research findings, 'Use of postmastectomy radiotherapy in older women,' are discussed in a new report. According to recent research from the United States, "Clinical trials and guidelines published between 1997 and 2001 concluded that postmastectomy radiotherapy (PMRT) improves overall survival for women with high-risk breast cancer. However, the effect of these findings on current practice is not known."
