University of Missouri Selects 1102 GRAND as Interconnection Facility to Support Statewide Research & Education Network

1102 GRAND, Kansas City's Carrier Hotel and carrier-neutral colocation provider, announces the Missouri Research and Education Network (MOREnet), a unit of the University of Missouri, one of the nation's largest and most prestigious public research universities, will build out a data center facility and connect to the building's carrier neutral Meet Me Room. MOREnet operates a shared statewide network that provides Internet access and interactive video to Missouri's public sector as well as providing technical support and training services. Established in 1991 and based in Columbia, MOREnet serves 515 Missouri K-12 schools, 67 colleges and universities, 131 libraries, teaching hospitals...
