Hepatocellular carcinoma is influenced by altered telomerase expression

In a recent publication, researchers from the People's Republic of China reported on the dynamic alteration of telomerase expression and its diagnostic significance in liver or peripheral blood for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).

D.F. Yao and colleagues, Nantong University, wrote that the study was done "to investigate the dynamic alteration of telomerase expression during development of HCC and its diagnostic implications in liver tissues or peripheral blood mononuclear cells for HCC."
