Scientists discuss in "Radiation-induced cell signaling: inside-out and outside-in" new findings in ataxia telangiectasia. According to recent research from the United States, "Exposure of tumor cells to clinically relevant doses of ionizing radiation causes DNA damage as well as mitochondria-dependent generation of reactive oxygen species.
