CytoGenix Announces Successful Testing of synDNA Vaccine for Avian Influenza Virus

CytoGenix, Inc. (CYGX.OB) announced that it has successfully completed an important pilot study with a novel synDNA(TM) vaccine designed for humans (therapeutic) and intended to protect against the avian (H5N1) influenza virus. The study clearly demonstrated a robust protective effect in mice treated with the Company's synDNA(TM) vaccine whereas all the untreated control animals died after both groups were challenged with a highly virulent strain of avian influenza virus (Vietnam/1203/04). The lethal challenge testing was conducted by recognized collaborators in the field under a sponsored research agreement with the Company.
