Inovio Biomedical to Present New Research and Technology Innovations at Bioelectrochemistry Symposium

Inovio Biomedical Corp. (AMEX: INO), which is focused on the development of DNA vaccines and a novel solid tumor ablation therapy, announced that its scientists will deliver two presentations at the 19th International Symposium on Bioelectrochemistry in Toulouse, France, April 1-4, 2007. The presentations will cover new developments in Inovio's DNA vaccine and solid tumor therapy programs. Both programs are based on the company's core electroporation technology, which uses electrical pulses to increase cellular uptake of therapeutic drugs and, in the case of gene-based treatments such as DNA vaccines, significantly enhance levels of gene expression and potency.
