Research conducted at University of Hong Kong, Department of Anatomy has updated our knowledge about molecular medicine

Current study results from the report, "Characterization of the effects of anti-aging medicine Fructus lycii on beta-amyloid peptide neurotoxicity," have been published. "Alzheimer's disease (AD) is an age-related neurodegenerative disease. There are increasing lines of evidence showing that the molecular signaling pathways in aged cells are altered so that cells are susceptible to injury," scientists in People's Republic of China report.
