Investigators at Ludwig Maximilians University, Biotechnology Department Have Published New Data on Molecular Biology

2011 FEB 28 -- New investigation results, 'Multifunctional CPP polymer system for tumor-targeted pDNA and siRNA delivery,' are detailed in a study published in Methods In Molecular Biology. "Cell-penetrating peptides (CPPs) are a very interesting class of molecules to be introduced in gene and siRNA vectors," researchers in Munich, Germany report.

"They can be used to overcome one of the biggest hurdles in gene and siRNA delivery in vitro and in vivo, the transfer across cell membranes. This chapter describes protocols for the synthesis and biological evaluation of a polylysine-based polymer," wrote C. Dohmen and colleagues, Ludwig Maximilians...
