Survey reveals school nurses concerned about surge in whopping cough in teens

A new survey supported by the U.S. National Association of School Nurses (NASN) reveals that almost 90% of polled school nurses are concerned about the recent surge in pertussis (whooping cough) outbreaks among adolescents.

In response, NASN launched "Pertussis Tools for Schools," a campaign designed to educate school nurses, teachers, parents and teens about the signs and symptoms of pertussis.
