Australian Study suggests alcohol use during pregnancy is more than a medical issue

A large Australian study finds that babies born to women hospitalized for alcohol-related reasons during pregnancy are smaller, have lower Apgar scores and are more likely to be admitted to a special care unit, and suggests that the solution lies in a societal, rather than simply a medical approach.
