Canada's Boom Town Confronts Its Seamy Side

Since revelations that pimps were recruiting teenagers at shopping malls, this city of oil wealth and Olympic fame has acquired an unwanted label: child prostitution capital of Canada.

Some cities might have fretted about bad publicity and tried to sweep the problem from sight. Calgary, Alberta, Canada, tackled it head-on with an aggressive counterattack that has the rest of Canada looking on with admiration.
