Majority of Older Normal Men Have Erectile Problems

A recent study of health related quality of life has shown that two-thirds of normal older men have problems with erections and a third have urinary leakage.

M.S. Litwin measured health related quality of life in a population of normal older men for use as controls in studies of older men treated for prostate cancer ("Health Related Quality of Life in Older Men without Prostate Cancer," Journal of Urology, April 1999;161(4):1180-1184).
