Avalon Healthcare Signs Agreement with Tenet Healthcare Corporation

Avalon Healthcare, Inc., Florida's fast growing statewide individual and group health insurance plan, signed an agreement with Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE:THC). The agreement, which becomes effective October 1, 2007, covers Tenet's 11 South Florida hospitals as well as its ambulatory surgery and imaging centers.

Hospitals in the agreement are: Coral Gables Hospital, Delray Medical Center, Florida Medical Center, Good Samaritan Medical Center, Hialeah Hospital, North Ridge Medical Center, North Shore Medical Center, Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, Palmetto General Hospital, St. Mary's Medical Center and West Boca Medical Center.
