Biotechnology Industry Organization lauds Senate for passage of stem cell bill

Jim Greenwood, president and CEO of the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), issued the following statement on H.R. 810, the Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act, which was passed in the U.S. Senate by a vote of 63-37. The U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 810 by a vote of 238-194 on May 24, 2005.
