Studies from Germany describe new findings in biomedical engineering research

Investigators in Germany have published new biomedical engineering data. Study 1: Collagen markers have been identified for chondrocyte dedifferentiation into a more fibroblastoid cell type. "Tissue engineering is a promising method for the generation of chondrogenic grafts for reconstructive surgery. In cultured chondrocytes, the dedifferentiation of cells seems unavoidable for multiplication," investigators in Germany report.
