Company plans to file premarket approval application for CTA product

Anika Therapeutics, Inc., (ANIK) announced that it intends to file a pre-market approval (PMA) application with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for its cosmetic tissue augmentation (CTA) product.

"We have completed our preliminary review of the results of our CTA clinical trial and, based on those results, intend to move forward with filing a PMA by the end of the third quarter," said Charles Sherwood, PhD, president and chief executive officer.
