Scientists from the United States recently conducted a review to, "determine the prevalence and outcome in patients with diabetes that undergo surgery to correct carotid artery stenosis, lower extremity arterial disease, and abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA)."
J.S. Weiss and B.E. Sumpio at Yale University explained, "Studies were obtained from searches over the past 15 years on the National Library of Medicine's online search engine."
