Study 1: High-resolution real-time spiral MRI provided effective guidance for coronary interventions in a rabbit model.
In a recent study from California, a group of researchers examined "the feasibility of a combined high spatial and temporal resolution real-time spiral MRI sequence for guiding coronary-sized vascular interventions."
"Eight New Zealand White rabbits (four normal and four with a surgically-created stenosis in the abdominal aorta) were studied," explained M. Terashima and coauthors at Stanford University.
