University General Hospital confirms accreditation by Joint Commission

The decision cames the same day that Houston-based University General Hospital Systems executed a $1 billion agreement with Charlotte, North Carolina-based Alliance Development Group to jointly develop up to another 10 physician-owned acute-care hospital facilities across the country.
