Investigators from Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, U.S., have published new surgery data.

Study 1: Researchers detail in "Nine-year experience with insertion of vena cava filters in the intensive care unit," new data in surgery. According to recent research from the United States, "Vena cava filter insertion (VCF) is traditionally performed in a radiology suite or in the operating room. We reviewed our experience of bedside VCF insertion in the intensive care unit (ICU) performed by general surgeons."
