Reports outline polycystic ovarian syndrome study findings from the United Kingdom, the Turkey and the Egypt

New polycystic ovarian syndrome study findings from the United Kingdom, the Turkey and the Egypt were highlighted recently in medical journals.

Study 1: Fresh data on polycystic ovarian syndrome are presented in the report "Effect of laparoscopic ovarian diathermy on circulating inhibin B in women with anovulatory polycystic ovary syndrome. Laparoscopic ovarian diathermy (LOD) frequently induces ovulation in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). The mechanism by which this effect occurs remains largely unexplained," scientists in Sheffield, the United Kingdom report.
