David C. Dvorak Named President and CEO of Zimmer Holdings, Inc.

Zimmer Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:ZMH), a global leader in the orthopaedics industry, announced that David C. Dvorak has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company and has also been appointed to the Company's Board of Directors, effectively immediately.

Mr. Dvorak, 43, who had been Group President, Global Businesses and Chief Legal Officer, succeeds Ray Elliott as President and CEO.
