Study data from Afyon Kocatepe University, Department of Ophthalmology provide new insights into edema therapy

A new study, "Preoperative topical indomethacin to prevent pseudophakic cystoid macular edema," is now available. In this recent study, researchers in Turkey conducted a study "To evaluate the effectiveness of a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) on pseudophakic cystoid macular edema (CME) and determine the efficacy when used preoperatively and after uneventful phacoemulsification surgery. Department of Ophthalmology, Kocatepe University, School of Medicine, Afyonkarahisar, Turkey."
