Encision Reports First Fiscal Quarter Results

Encision Inc. (AMEX: ECI), a medical device company owning patented surgical technology that is emerging as a standard of care in minimally-invasive surgery, reported its financial results for its first fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2007.

Net sales for the first quarter of fiscal year 2008, the three months period ended June 30, 2007, totaled $2.66 million, representing a 3% decrease over net sales of $2.75 million for the prior fiscal year's first quarter. The Company recorded a net loss of $295 thousand or $.05 per share for the first quarter of fiscal year 2008 compared to net income of $104 thousand or $.02 per share for the first quarter of fiscal year 2007.
