Carl Zeiss Sets New Standard in Ophthalmology

September Introducing OPMI Lumera(R) and OPMI Lumera(R) T, the latest surgical microscopes from Carl Zeiss: The systems are equipped with Stereo Coaxial Illumination technology (SCITM). The result is a completely new quality of red reflex: high-contrast, stabile and first-class detail recognition. The different tissues can be easily recognized and removed - even with thick cataracts. SCITM is intuitively operated on a control element. Carl Zeiss Surgical has submitted a patent application for this new technology.
