New gastric cancer study findings reported from University of Verona, Division of General Surgery

Researchers detail in 'Lymph node involvement in gastric cancer for different tumor sites and T stage: Italian Research Group for Gastric Cancer (IRGGC) experience,' new data in gastric cancer. According to recent research published in the Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery, "' The aim of lymphadenectomy is to clear all the metastatic nodes achieving a complete removal of the tumor; nevertheless, its role in gastric cancer has been very much debated.
