Study results from University of Nebraska in the area of osteogenesis imperfecta in children published

A new study, 'Surgical treatment of osteogenesis imperfecta: current concepts,' is now available. According to recent research published in the journal Current Opinion In Pediatrics, "The treatment of osteogenesis imperfecta requires a multidisciplinary team to maximize function and comfort, and decrease fracture incidence. Medical treatment with bisphosphonates has allowed for safer, more effective surgical management of children with osteogenesis imperfecta."
