Research on surgery described by scientists at Chiba University, Medical Department

According to recent research from Chiba, Japan, "Aggressive hepatobiliary pancreatic surgery has been associated with high complication rates. Correlations of Th1/Th2 balance and toll-like receptor (TLR) 2/4 expression with postoperative infection following surgery were prospectively evaluated."
