New polyarteritis nodosa study findings recently were reported by S. Unverdi and co-researchers

"Spontaneous perirenal hematoma is an infrequent complication of isolated PAN. Also, involvement of the splenic arteries is a rare occurrence in polyarteritis nodosa. Perirenal hematoma rupture is a serious clinical condition," wrote S. Unverdi and colleagues.
