Researchers' work from John Radcliffe Hospital, Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery focuses on bioengineering

A new study, '3f prosthesis aortic cusp replacement: implantation technique and early results,' is now available. According to a study from Oxford, the United Kingdom, "Stentless aortic bioprostheses have been successfully used for over a decade. The 3f bioprosthesis is a new equine pericardial stentless valve, unique in its tubular design, preserving the native aortic sinuses post-implant."
