Researchers from Tri-Service General Hospital, Department of Internal Medicine discuss findings in abscess therapy

A report, 'Tubo-ovarian abscess with Morganella morganii bacteremia,' is newly published data in Journal of Microbiology, Immunology, and Infection. "Tubo-ovarian abscess caused by Morganella morganii is unusual. A 54-year-old menopausal woman visited the emergency room with lower abdominal pain, vomiting, and fever for 4 days," scientists in Taipei, Taiwan report.
